Legility seeks a Mississippi-licensed Litigation Attorney to assist a Memphis-based creditor rights law firm. This is expected to be a permanent or contract to permanent opportunity. The Litigation Attorney will be expected to work onsite at the client’s offices in Memphis. The Litigation Attorney will assist in areas including, but not limited to, commercial litigation, insurance subrogation, business law, bankruptcy, foreclosures, replevins, and medical/retail collections. The Litigation Attorney will assist with document review and litigation management in Circuit, County, and Justice Courts in Mississippi.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm setting including case law analysis, written and oral recommendations to clients, and negotiations with opposing counsel
- Active Mississippi Law License
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Lexis Nexis research tools
- Outstanding time management skills with the proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
